1. Who We Are

Forge is a product of Helen's Foundry Inc, a Delaware corporation ("Helen's Foundry," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Forge, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2. What We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it.

Payment information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. We retain only what the processor returns to us: a payment token, the last four digits of your card, billing country, and transaction records.

Usage data

We collect data about how you use Forge, including:

• Artifacts created, edited, and saved (content and metadata)
• MCP calls made by you or agents acting on your behalf
• Drift signal events and coherence checks triggered in your workspace
• Timestamps of activity

Technical data

We collect standard technical information when you access Forge: IP address, browser type, operating system, and session identifiers. We use this for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name (unless you provide it)
• Data from third-party sources about you
• Any information from children under 16

If you connect Forge to external tools (such as Linear), we access only the data necessary to provide the integration. We do not store third-party data beyond what is needed to operate the connection.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve Forge
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional communications (receipts, security alerts, service updates)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
• Understand how Forge is being used in aggregate, to improve the product

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share data only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate Forge, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database infrastructure), and Anthropic (AI inference for Helen). These vendors process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it.

Legal compliance. We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Helen's Foundry, our users, or the public.

Business transfer. If Helen's Foundry is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax and financial records, which we retain for 7 years).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@helensfoundry.com.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

9. Cookies

Forge uses cookies and similar technologies for session management and security. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect how Forge functions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in Forge before the changes take effect. Continued use of Forge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
